Dr. Philip Cimo is a native Houstonian who grew up in the Memorial area.   After attending the Univ. of Texas Dental School in Houston, he completed a hospital dentistry residency program in Bethesda, Maryland at the National Naval Medical Center.  The residency concentrated mainly on oral medicine, oral pathology and surgical aspects of dentistry.  From 2001-2003, he served as the solo dental officer aboard USS TORTUGA.  After moving back to Houston, he completed a preceptorship in Dental Implantology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School.  Philip has accumulated over 500 hours of continuing education mainly focused on cosmetic and implant dentistry.  Recently he has achieved a Fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry, a national dental professional association. Community service is also considered an important aspect of his practice.  Sponsored annual events such as Give Kids A Smile are attended by Dr. Cimo.
