Dr. Philip Cimo is a native Houstonian who grew up in the Memorial area. After attending the Univ. of Texas Dental School in Houston, he completed a hospital dentistry residency program in Bethesda, Maryland at the National Naval Medical Center. The residency concentrated mainly on the surgical aspects of dentistry. From 2001-2003, he served as the solo dental officer aboard USS TORTUGA. After moving back to Houston, he completed a preceptorship in Dental Implantology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. Dr. Cimo has accumulated hundreds hours of continuing education mainly focused on implant dentistry. He has achieved a fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry, a national dental professional association. From 2004 -2009 he served as a part time clinical associate professor with University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. The associateship position was a post graduate hospital residency program. Dr. Cimo is on staff at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center and is Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified.
